German company Bayer Crop Science unveiled its latest innovation, the MagicSprayer 6000, at the recent Agritechnica trade fair. Designed as a spot sprayer, the MagicSprayer 6000 offers farmers a more targeted approach to weed control, potentially reducing the need for herbicides.
With a working width of 6 meters, divided over three elements, the MagicSprayer 6000 is similar to the well-known EcoRobotix ARA. However, Bayer has taken it a step further by placing the spray nozzles even closer together, at a distance of 3 centimeters instead of 4. This precision allows for spot-specific weed control, with ‘pixels’ of 4 by 4 centimeters on the ground.
One of the standout features of the MagicSprayer 6000 is its advanced lighting and camera system. LED lights on the underside of the machine provide superior lighting conditions compared to similar machines, ensuring consistent performance.
