Sutter brings nearly three decades of industry experience to the table, most recently serving as President and CEO of LandPro Equipment, LLC in Batavia, New York. Under his leadership, LandPro was recognized as Precision Farming Dealer’s 2023 Most Valuable Dealership, underscoring his ability to drive excellence in the competitive agritech landscape.
Sutter’s career is marked by a series of high-profile roles in the industry, including his tenure as President and CEO of John Deere dealer Hutson Inc., which was named the 2023 Dealership of the Year. His journey in the agricultural sector began with John Deere Company in 1997, transitioning into the dealership side of the business in 2005. This extensive background has equipped Sutter with a robust understanding of both the manufacturing and dealership facets of the industry, making him an ideal fit for H & R Agri-Power.
The appointment comes after the unexpected passing of Greg Burch in March 2024. Burch had dedicated 20 years to H & R Agri-Power, serving as a regional manager before his promotion to COO. His sudden departure left a significant void in the organization, which Sutter is now set to fill. H & R Agri-Power, with its 21 farm equipment locations spread across Kentucky, Illinois, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and Indiana, stands to benefit from Sutter’s expertise in driving revenue enhancement, operational efficiency, and market expansion.
