The Vineatrac is designed with agility in mind, making it particularly adept at navigating challenging vineyard environments, such as steep slopes and narrow rows. With a powerful 27 HP gasoline engine paired with a hydraulic transmission, this tractor can tackle gradients of up to 60%, enabling it to operate effectively in hilly terrains where conventional tractors often falter. Its maximum speed of 5 km per hour may seem modest, but it is well-suited for the careful and precise work required in vineyards.
At the heart of the Vineatrac’s functionality is its sophisticated navigation system, which relies on GPS RTK and Lidar technology. Prior to deployment, field mapping is essential to configure the tractor according to the specific layout of the vineyard. Once set up, the Vineatrac autonomously manages tasks, utilizing sensors to navigate and operate with minimal human intervention.
