This year, the £1,500 bursary, offered in partnership with the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) Greenmount, has been presented to Jane May, a first-year higher education student with a deep-rooted passion for the industry.
May, who hails from a beef farming background and has gained practical experience working in a family-run agri-food business, embodies the spirit of the bursary.
