Published 20 hours ago, CNH brand New Holland has launched its 2025 Apprentice program, a pioneering initiative designed to attract and develop the next generation of agricultural technicians. This program is not just about learning a trade; it’s about accelerating learning and becoming fully productive within two years, gaining advanced technical skills, and building professional networks.
The program, submitted by CNHTaupo 440, offers a unique opportunity for six exceptional apprentice service technicians to experience race day action at one of six annual Supercars races, thanks to New Holland’s sponsorship of the Red Bull Ampol Racing Team. This isn’t just a thrilling experience; it’s a strategic move to showcase the high-tech world of modern agricultural machinery.
Gary Pertot, CNH ANZ National Parts and Service Manager, emphasizes that agricultural technology can be just as challenging and sophisticated as motorsports. “Just as Supercar teams rely on precision engineering, advanced data analytics, and complex technological systems, today’s agricultural professionals work with equally state-of-the-art machinery and technologies,” he said.
The Taupo 440 Apprentice Experience is more than just a day at the races. It’s a chance for apprentices to meet team drivers and work alongside the Red Bull Ampol Racing team and Triple Eight Race Engineering team. This hands-on experience is designed to inspire emerging talent to see agriculture as a cutting-edge, rewarding professional pathway.
The Apprentice of the Year program is open to service apprentices working across New Holland Agriculture’s network of 129 Australian and New Zealand dealerships. Dealer Principals or Service Managers nominate outstanding apprentices, who then have the chance to be part of this innovative program.
CNH Industrial, a world-class equipment, technology, and services company, is driving this initiative. With a history spanning over two centuries, CNH has always been a pioneer in its sectors and continues to passionately innovate and drive customer efficiency and success. The company’s purpose centers on Innovation, Sustainability, and Productivity, providing the strategic direction, R&D capabilities, and investments that enable the success of its global and regional Brands.
This program is a testament to New Holland’s commitment to developing skilled professionals who will drive the future of agricultural innovation. It’s about breaking new ground, challenging outdated perceptions of farming as a low-tech industry, and addressing skills shortages. It’s about showing that agriculture offers dynamic, technology-driven career paths.
