KIOTI Expands with New Washington Distribution Hub

KIOTI Tractor, a division of Daedong-USA Inc., has taken a significant step in bolstering its North American infrastructure with the opening of a new 146,327-square-foot facility in Tumwater, Washington. This marks the company’s first foray into the region, strategically positioned just two miles south of Olympia. The new site, which began operations in phases starting in May 2025, is set to enhance distribution efficiency and strengthen support for dealers and customers in the Upper Midwest, Pacific Northwest, and Western Canada.

The expansion is part of KIOTI’s broader initiative to fortify its North American presence, following the recent growth and expansion of its Milton, Ontario warehouse. Ryan Kim, deputy CEO at KIOTI Tractor, emphasized the importance of this move, stating, “As we continue to expand our presence in North America, strengthening our distribution channels remains a key strategic priority. After evaluating our infrastructure, we made significant investments to enhance logistics and increase our overall capacity. The Tumwater warehouse now serves as a dedicated hub to support our western dealers and customers.”

The Tumwater facility is designed with a focus on improving logistics and inventory management. Featuring 26 dock doors and a 36-foot high-clearance interior space, the site significantly boosts KIOTI’s equipment and parts storage capacity. Its strategic location in Washington is expected to streamline distribution, leading to faster fulfillment, improved service, and greater operational efficiency.

Bryan Falkner, director of product support and U.S. operations at KIOTI Tractor, highlighted the benefits of the new facility’s location. “By positioning the facility in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, we are providing our dealers with quicker access to the products and parts their customers need,” he said. “It’s a critical building block in our long-term strategy to streamline and improve our service and support across North America.”

The implications of this expansion are far-reaching. For dealers, the new facility means reduced lead times and improved inventory management, ultimately leading to better customer service. For customers, it translates to faster access to KIOTI’s range of tractors and parts, enhancing their overall experience. Moreover, the increased operational efficiency is expected to drive down costs, potentially leading to more competitive pricing.

The Tumwater facility also underscores KIOTI’s commitment to its North American market. By investing in local infrastructure, the company is not only improving its service capabilities but also creating jobs and contributing to the local economy. This move is likely to strengthen KIOTI’s position in the region, making it a more formidable competitor in the agritech industry.

In the broader context, KIOTI’s expansion reflects a trend among agritech companies to invest in localized distribution networks. As the industry becomes more competitive, companies are recognizing the importance of having a strong, localized presence to better serve their customers. This trend is likely to continue, with more companies following KIOTI’s lead and investing in regional infrastructure.

In conclusion, KIOTI’s new Tumwater facility is a significant development that is set to enhance the company’s distribution efficiency and service capabilities in the Upper Midwest, Pacific Northwest, and Western Canada. It underscores KIOTI’s commitment to its North American market and reflects a broader industry trend towards localized distribution networks. For dealers and customers alike, the new facility promises improved service, faster fulfillment, and greater operational efficiency.
