Ukrainian Study Links Animal Breeding and Climate Change

For instance, cattle, particularly those fed a high-grain diet, are significant methane emitters. The study also underscores the need for a balanced approach. “Current global problems require a clear balance between the constant development of sustainable animal breeding and the decrease of the carbon footprint due to the activity of animal breeding,” Zhukorsky emphasizes.
