The World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit is set to return to The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre for its third consecutive year, gathering senior leaders, investors, and technology developers to explore the future of climate-resilient agriculture. The event, taking place on December 8-9, will focus on how innovative agricultural practices are shaping food production across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.
This year’s summit will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers, including H. E. Dr Abdulaziz Al Malik, Deputy Minister for Research and Innovation at the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, alongside representatives from key organizations such as UAE Food Cluster, Syngenta, ADAFSA, ICARDA, Bidra VC, and AgriEdge. The program will delve into critical topics such as climate-smart agriculture, sustainable production models, and emerging technologies that are pivotal to the region’s food security strategies.
Organizers expect over 250 senior decision-makers and more than 85 speakers to participate, fostering a dynamic environment for collaboration and knowledge exchange. The summit will kick off with a pre-summit innovation tour, taking delegates to Silal’s Innovation Oasis. This research and development hub showcases cutting-edge solutions such as desalination systems, aquaponics trials, solar-powered farming, and climate-smart greenhouse technologies.
Throughout the event, roundtable sessions will be hosted by industry leaders, including AL Dahra, Syngenta, and Ergos. These sessions will provide a platform for in-depth discussions on the latest advancements and challenges in the agricultural sector. Additionally, delegates can join the AGX AI Brunch Club, which will focus on the role of data, policy, and partnerships in responsible AI development for small-scale producers. A Women in Agriculture Breakfast, hosted by Maaden, will take place on December 9 at 8:00, highlighting the contributions and leadership of women in the agricultural industry.
The opening day will conclude with a networking reception featuring Moroccan refreshments, hosted by the High Atlas Foundation. This event aims to provide a platform for collaboration, the exchange of technical insights, and discussions on the deployment of new agricultural technologies.
